What are the loan periods
Most library materials are lent for two-week periods with the option of renewal unless someone else is waiting for the item. The number of renewals may vary by format but most items can be checked out for two weeks with three renewals of two weeks. To renew your items see 'Renew checked out items' for help. This will also show you when your items are due.
Inter-library loans require approval for renewing. Please contact the library 2-3 days before the inter-library loan is due to see about a renewal.
We do have limits on resources so no more than one LaunchPad, four media kits, four audio materials, and four visual media per format will be loaned per patron. Three active interlibrary loans are allowed per patron at a time.
Dorothy Alling Memorial Library does not fine for overdue items but borrowers are billed for unreturned, damaged or lost materials.
