Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports publishes results of tests on products ranging from major purchases such as automobiles and appliances to everyday items, such as foods and cleaning supplies. Test reports include brand-name ratings and Consumers Union's recommendations. Goods and services covered include: appliances, automobiles, electronics, foods, health, home, personal, travel and more.

Consumer Reports magazines are available for checkout. There is also a copy available for in-house use only. It is shelved in the Reference/Adult Computer room. Click here to see a listing of the issues available. You can browse the 5-year index online which is updated monthly to find the print issue for specific products.

Tax Forms Online

Vermont state tax forms are no longer delivered to public places such as libraries, post offices, town halls. Information on how to obtain a form or file online can be found here.  Federal forms can be found here.

VT Public Benefits

Vermont public benefits. To apply or check eligibilty on state benefits in Vermont check this website  This site also contains Social Security Administration forms.

VT Office of Veteran Affaris

The VT Office of Veteran Affairs contains information to help you understand what benefits and services are available for Vermont veterans. The site consolidates information from numerous federal, state, and private organizations.
