Telescope

Thanks to a generous donation by Terry Zittritsch, the library has acquired an Orion Starblast 4.5 inch Astro Reflector telescope through the Vermont Astronomical Society's Library Loaner Telescope program. The Orion is a steady and rugged telescope that can be used outside and transported in your car - putting it on the floor or using a seatbelt may be a good idea. Dew or condensation will not damage the telescope but may blur the image. It is best to store the telescope inside when not in use. Lending rules may be found here. Please allow 30 minutes for check out/check in time.
