Tax Assistance
DAML has been pleased to provide space for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide which gives tax assistance free of charge, with a special focus on taxpayers who are 50 or older or who have low to moderate income. Please call to book an appointment
Please note the following:
- Appointments are on Sundays.
- Intake paperwork must be picked up at the Library during open hours.
- There are no digital options for sending intake paperwork.
- The Library is closed on Sunday, a greeter will meet you at the front door to let you in at your appointment time.
- If this service does not meet your needs we suggest talking to AARP directly. Their website can be found here.
There is another organization that provides free tax assistance for those who meet their criteria. To be eligible the tax payer must have been a resident of the US for the last year, have a total family income of $57,000 in 2020 and have all of their information along with other requirements. To see if you qualify and work with them check out their website here.
If you need forms:
The Library requests the basic physical IRS Forms each year and we will place what we have in the vestibule of the library where they can be accessed during Porch Pickup hours. Everything we have is out. We cannot hold, or guarantee forms to be available.
The government offers all of their forms online for downloading and printing. Need a form printed? Use our Email to Print service where, using the form here you submit the document (PDF only) and instructions and we will print and have it put into the vestibule. Charges apply as shown on the form.
