Vermont's History Museum is a multimedia exhibit presenting Vermont's history from 1600 to the present day. There is one permanent exhibit aptly named "Freedom and Unity One Ideal, Many Stories", which has been on display since 2004 that enables visitors to walk through time and experience a full sized Abenaki wigwam, a re-creation of the Catamount Tavern where the Green Mountain Boys gathered, a railroad station complete with a working telegraph and a WWII living room furnished with period music and magazines.

This pass also allows entrance to the Vermont Heritage Galleries.

Guidelines to borrowing the Vermont Historical Society Museum: Admission: Free entry into Vermont Historical Society Museum for one person or one family to both the History Museum (Montpelier) and the History Center (Barre).

• Sign up for the 3 days you would like to use the Pass
• Call 878-4918 or stop by the library front desk to reserve a date
• The pass will be ready for pick-up by noon on the reserved date
• Pass must be returned by 10 am 2 days after the reserved date. It may be returned in the book drop. Please be considerate of the next borrower by returning it on time.

Replacement fee for this pass is $25.00 if lost or not returned.

This pass is only available for Williston/St. George residents. Residents of other towns should visit their home libraries to borrow passes.
