Read any book from our "New Books" shelves and come to tell others about it, even if you haven't finished it yet! Learn about books others read and enjoy some tasty snacks. If you would like to help selecting one of the library's new books, please ask a Youth Librarian! We'd be delighted to show you the new bookshelf, and tips for spotting new graphic novels and audiobooks as well.

The Green Mountain Book Award (GMBA), initiated in 2005, is a reader's choice award for Vermont students in grades 9-12. The program is intended to encourage high schoolers to become enthusiastic and discriminating readers.
