Request an inter-library loan

If you are a DAML cardholder and the Library does not own what you need, Inter-library Loan (ILL) can be used to search the state for the item(s). Patrons are able to make ILL requests online.  To access the online ILL system click the icon.  If you do not have online access please email This email address is being protected from spambots. ILL
We encourage patrons to use their HomeCard to checkout items from nearby libraries when possible. To do this simply call the library that owns the item and schedule a hold/pick up. Our catalog is setup so that items that are at libraries that participate in HomeCard are shown.

Things to know

Patrons in good standing may have three active requests at one time.

Loans from other libraries typically take 2-3 weeks to receive but can sometimes take 2-4 weeks for hard to find or popular items.

An item cannot be requested from another library until it is six months old.

To obtain or suggest a new item please use the "Purchase Suggestions" feature from your library account.

Items check out for two weeks. If a longer loan period is needed please let us know 3-4 days before the item is due so that we can check with the lending library. Renewals are up to the lending library.

Our library is responsible for the safety of materials borrowed from other libraries and our privilege of borrowing from them is jeopardized if anything is damaged or lost. We may suspend Inter-library Loan borrowing privileges of any patron who does not return the ILL materials we have obtained for them.
